Three Pillars /Exposure Triangle

Aperture         ISO         Shutter Speed

Rule of thirds

Focal length

Aperture

Letting more or less light in

closed small = f 22

Middle = f 8

Open Large = f 1.4

Always f8 and be there.

f 22 small hole  a lot in focus

f 1.4 large hole a lot of light in less focus

depth of field at a low f-stop is shallow

depth of field at a high f-stop is deep

Lenses

Fixed  one focal length

zoom

zoomed out aperture is one number

zoomed in will increase the f-stop number

pro lens
fixed aperture

70mm-200mm f 8

ISO

Photography

Sensitivity of the film roll

100 asa
200 asa
400 asa
800 asa

Quick moving images = higher asa

Slower moving image = lower asa

Shutter Speed (Blinking)

High Quick shutter speed lets in less light because the lens is mostly shut

1/4 quarter of a second

1/250

quickest is 1/4000

longest 30 seconds (stills)

HAVE INSPIRATION

f8
800 asa
5 second

f 16
300-400 asa
1/16

camera

CCD x3 pro - RGB

we pick up green twice as much as red and blue
a dslr sensor has to counteract this

photolithography (lith)- b&w

sensors are made by small wafer thin silicone layers, black and white then on top of that every layer is a different colour(Red green and blue)
