I have five different ideas for this project

Idea one
Make a music video.
I have an idea to make a music video where it has a storyline of friends exploring a city, getting lost and finding their way home again. It would show them walking around having fun and I would edit the video to be in time with the beats in the music.
I really like this idea and I want to do it but I think doing a music video would be fun but doesn't show off my talents and skill as well as I could hope so I think another idea would be more suitable for me.

Idea Two
My second idea is to make a short film portraying how it feels to suffer from an eating disorder.
For this I am thinking about doing a dark film showing how alone people feel when suffering from a disorder and what there is to help them, I would look in to facts and any information I would need and look at different similar films to get ideas and inspiration.
I really like this idea and I feel like it would go really well aswel as it could help some people who are suffering but I think that it might be sightly too difficult for me to make how I am imagining it and it might be better to do a different idea but this is an idea I would really like to make at some point in my life.

Idea three
For this idea I was going to make a website and graphics to advertise a fake company or a real one if I could get a client. Doing this I would make a 5 page website all including any information nesscary and a logo aswell as making three different posters/ graphics to go with these and to advertise it all. to do this I would have to find a client or make a company and look at what company's are similar to this, what the target audience is and how companies like this mostly get their views.
I think this would be a really good idea but this seems a little too simple to me as I did this in level 2, I know I could do this and work very hard on it and make it a lot better quality than before and learn from my mistakes but I still feel like the task is too simple to show off my skills.

Idea four
This idea is one I have already looked in to but did not complete due to difficulties when filming my last project. This idea is to do a hide and seek game with 8 people across two xbox's on Halo Reach. I started this idea as a side game from my last project but due to time issues I wasn't able to film it but I really loved the idea, the use of the black magics and green screen and this is an area I have been really passionate about since level 2 and I would love to do more on it. For this project I will have different games of hide and seek maybe with different people and I have experience in making a show like this now so I know what to improve upon.
I really like this idea, I feel it is the one I am most passionate about and would love to achieve and create.

Idea Five 
My last idea is to make a documentary talking about how people feel when their are at education and how it effects mental health and what there is that can be improved to help people going through mental health problems in education. I feel like this is a really good idea and I would love to do it, it would involve me asking a lot of people about their experiences in college and asking what they do to help with their problems. The documentary would have a lot of interviews and information to help not only the people suffering but the people around them.
I really like this idea but I know it is hard to get people to talk to a camera about these issues. I would love to create this to help raise awareness of how bad college and education effects mental health and the simple things that could change to help massively but I don't feel like I could successfully help anyone and I feel like I would make different idea with more passion and dedication as I am not much of a documentary fan.

Why I have chosen my idea

I have chosen this idea because I am really passionate about this topic and would love to make another multi shoot video with live editing but to a better success. I really enjoyed seeing how it all went and seeing how well my final project looked like when I did multi camera shoots before but theres so many different ways I know now that I could improve upon so I would like to do this but different and with more ideas. I am very excited to see how this goes and to see how much I can improve upon it from the last time I did this.


what i plan to learn

for this project i will learn about my target audience and what they enjoy. i wil also learn more about halo reach as a game and what purpose it serves and how it does this. i plan to learn about how people react to games and what the best way to portay my show would be and when and where.

Section 1: Rationale/Review (Level 2 approx 50 words, Level 3 approx 100 words)

I have acquired many skills including use of the black magic systems and devices to do a live edit and multi camera shoot. I understand this is hard for people and I am lucky to know how to use this technology. I need now to know how to get input from two xbox’s and three cameras and be able to live edit between them. I know how to do this off one xbox and two cameras but it is going to be harder to be between more cameras and the other xbox. Knowing how to do this and being passionate about it has made me want to try do this again.

Section 2: Project Concept (Level 2 approx 100 words, Level 3 approx 200 words)

I will look in to different way multi camera shoots are recorded and why then I will look at different games and why and who plays them to get an accurate target audience.  I plan to make a video of people having fun playing a mini game together, I hope it will be high quality and match the quality of newer major league gaming matches. There will be a lot of resources I will need like 2 separate screens and xbox’s then I will set up three cameras to face the people playing these will also have to be connected to the black magic live edit board then there will have to be different mics for sound, I think I am going to go with tie mics for this project so I can get the sound of each person but I think it might be easier to use a normal boom mic and more. I will have a complete video that should be up to 20 minuets long of sections of people playing and having fun.

Section 3: Evaluation (Level 2 approx 50 words, Level 3 approx 50 words)

I will reflect on my work while going through it by writing about each section after doing it then I will compare it to last time I did something similar to this and compare it to what I wanted to happen. During my reflections I will write about what was successful on each section and what wasn’t so I can see what I need to improve upon.
